Eh Amanda Pig was merely okay Not as appealing a pig as Poppleton, Mercy Watson Fights Crime, Olivia, There Is a Bird on Your Head , or.

My youngest child wanted to read books about Mother s Day and I chose this one, although she s probably too old for it I like how the mother helps Amanda through the mad, sad day, and the other stories in here are cute as well I got this book for my middle child when the oldest started school, because that is the situation in this book, when the younger child Amanda needed to learn to entertain herself while her big brother Oliver was at school.

This is a fun book of four stories about a little pig named Amanda The narrative is okay for beginning readers, but since Amanda is too young to go to school, it s probablyappropriate for parents to read to their younger children The stories are fun, especially for little girls, and show the young pig being creative, nurturing, naughty and bored.
